Ford EV owners to get access to Tesla Supercharger network starting next spring DETROIT (AP) — All of Ford Motor Co.'s current and future electric vehicles will have access to about 12,000 Tesla Supercharger stations in the U.S. and Canada starting next spring.Ford CEO Jim Farley and Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the agreement Thursday during a “Twitter Spaces” audio chat.“We think this is a huge move for our industry and for all electric customers,” Farley said.Musk said he didn't want Tesla's network to be a “walled garden” and that he wants to use it to support sustainable transportation.“It is our intent to do everything possible to support Ford and have Ford be on an equal footing at Tesla Superchargers,” Musk said. Sample tests positive for West Nile in Williamson County WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) – Williamson County officials said Thursday a mosquito trap sample collected in Georgetown tested positive for West Nile virus. According to the announcement from the Williamson County and Cities Health District, the positive sample was collected from a trap site near Geneva Park at 1021 Quail Valley Drive. The last date a positive sample was collected from this location was October 2022. West Nile virus found in 2 Georgetown mosquito samples WCCHD said this is the first reported West Nile virus positive trap of the 2023 season. It is the earliest that West Nile virus has been detected in a mosquito sample in Williamson County, WCCHED said, since the health district began its mosquito sampling program in 2013.
